So i have been uber busy doing parts for a few show cars at one of the biggest VW shows out there!

So after a loverly time away, i have purchsed myself a nice Vacuum Bagging setup, to start producing parts.

I am now doing flat panels, sold by the size of A3, A4, A5... Please contact me for more info

Soon to be making double sided flat panels too.

A friend and members of OEModified.com asked me to "Wrap" some parts for him..

Spoiler,

Bump Strips,
Filler Cap Strips,
Boot Strip.

So a fair amount of work, the time frame for this is extensive as these will be going on major build car that is currently near completion.

So this one was on the cards for a very long time, but moving home and things in life getting in the way, i eventually got round to doing it! done in a few days but perfected in a fortnight. Clear Coated at a body shop.

Splitting Mirrors

So while i was coving the Audi bumper, i was asked to do the Polo Gti Splitter and Mirror caps.

Im really happy with the outcome of both and the finish was further enhanced by bodyshop clear coat.

Audi A3 8P Front bumper and Surrounds

So at this point i was getting alot of requests for Carbon work, but only a few people were willing to pay for the materials from me to crack on..

I was asked to do a front bumper on a Audi A3 8P and the Surrounds

The ONLY ONE!

So i got together with a mate who makes Formula One composite parts
to build a mould of a Astra VXR Spark Plug Cover.

After a couple of tries we manged to create a smooth finished part.

The only one created from 100% Pre-Preg all ready to rock on a mates VXR

Also covered the Fusebox and Aux box

So after Moving house a managed to have a better setup with my little workshop.

A few friends asked if i could do there center caps from some wheels in carbon.

Audi A3 - Merc Rims

As you can see, to keep the original design i put the Chrome Mercedes Symbol
on top.

VW Polo GTi - BBS RS

Again Keeping with the customers plans, having the BBS logo sticker custom
made and placed in the center really worked.

I started out just Covering some smaller parts in carbon (Carbon Wrapping/Skinning)

Here is my very first piece.

A Mk4 Golf Center Console and Ash tray cover

I had alot to learn from this, like getting the weave strait and prepping the original piece better.

Due to this fabric being "Plain Weave" it was alot harder for it to conform to the angles and curves.

Both of these parts too about 3-5 Days to complete.

Hello and Welcome to SK-CD (Stuart Kennedy-Carbon Developments)

I have been working with Carbon Composites for a number of years now, making
small (Wheel Center Caps) to larger (Spoilers) parts from Carbon fiber.

Ive set up this blog to show the progress of the work i do.
